Ember at Horizons sits at the heart of London's West End, a few steps from Leicester Square Underground station. The restaurant occupies the ground floor of Horizons Casino at Queens House, 1 Leicester Place, built around an open charcoal grill kitchen and a covered outdoor terrace overlooking the square.
The kitchen cooks everything over charcoal — sharing platters, kebabs, and à la carte mains spanning Mediterranean, Indian, and Pan-Asian flavours. It's built for groups who want proper cooked-over-fire food without leaving central London.

Every main comes off the charcoal grill, from whole spiced chicken to lamb chops and mixed seafood platters. The menu draws on Mediterranean, Indian, and Pan-Asian cooking rather than sticking to one cuisine, so sharing platters usually mix styles across a table. The Terrace
Ember's outdoor terrace is one of the largest in Leicester Square, covered and heated so it runs year-round rather than just in summer. Marble-topped tables and lounge seating look out over the square, with enough space between tables for groups to settle in for the evening rather than perch for a quick drink. It's also one of the later-closing terraces in the area — service continues until 1am, well past when most Leicester Square terraces have packed up.

Open Late
Ember is open daily from 12pm. The kitchen serves until 2am with last orders at 1:30am, the terrace stays open until 1am, and the bar runs until 3am — later than most restaurants in Leicester Square. Weeknights are quieter and well suited to walk-ins; weekends and post-theatre evenings get busy, especially on the terrace.
Book a Table
Tables are walk-in friendly outside peak times, but the terrace is the busiest part of the venue and books up most Friday and Saturday evenings. Booking ahead is recommended, particularly for groups of four or more.
